FDA Orders Fracture Warning on Osteoporosis Drug Labels

Manufacturers of bisphosphonates, a class of drugs used to treat osteoporosis, must now include information in the label warning about the risk of atypical femur fractures, particularly in patients who have used the drugs for more than five years.
