Elusive Internet Pharmacy Gets FDA Warning Letter
The FDA has sent a warning letter, via email, to an elusive internet-based pharmacy that appears to operate nearly 300 websites for selling unapproved and misbranded drugs without a prescription. Rx-promotion, based in Gibraltar, advertises a variety of medications, including prescription narcotics such as oxycodone and Vicodin (hydrocodone/acetaminophen), as well as diet pills and erectile dysfunction treatments under the names “Viagra Professional,” “Cialis Super Active” and “Female Viagra.”
