J&J Recalls More OTC Drugs Made at Troubled Fort Washington Plant
Manufacturing “insufficiencies” are behind yet another Johnson & Johnson (J&J) recall of three OTC medicines manufactured at its Fort Washington, Pa., facility. The voluntary recall involves 4 million packages of children’s Benadryl Allergy Fastmelt tablets in cherry and grape flavors distributed in Belize, Barbados, Canada, Puerto Rico, St. Martin, St. Thomas and the U.S.; 800,000 packages of 24-count Junior Strength Motrin caplets distributed in the U.S.; and 71,000 packs of Extra Strength Rolaids softchews.
