The UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency has issued a safety alert for GemStar pump sets manufactured by Hospira UK. Hospira issued a recall for the product after discovering the pump under-delivered treatment when used at used at flow rate settings of less than 10ml per hour.
