President’s $4.4 Billion FDA Budget Request Assumes User Fee Increase

President Barack Obama is requesting a $4.4 billion budget for the FDA for fiscal 2012, a 33 percent increase over the agency’s fiscal 2010 budget, and assumes that the agency would receive a $278 million increase in drug user fees over the fiscal 2010 budget.
