The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has issued an alert for Smiths Medical International’s Level 1 Normothermic IV fluid administration sets for use with the Level 1 Fast Flow fluid warmer units. There have been reports of kinking of the tubing, and leaking at the F-50 gas vent filter assembly of Level 1 administration sets.
