To avoid conflict down the road, research sites must insist on clarity in the contracts they draft with sponsors and contract research organizations (CROs), an expert says. The primary purposes of clinical trial contracts are to eliminate ambiguity, achieve regulatory compliance and establish and memorialize expectations, LaDale George, an attorney with Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg, said at a recent workshop sponsored by ExL Pharma.
