Senate Panel Votes to Increase FDA’s Fiscal 2014 Budget by Nearly $100 Million
A key Senate panel has advanced legislation to give the cash-strapped FDA a $96 million boost in funding for fiscal year 2014. The Senate Appropriations Committee voted during a markup session June 20 to push forward a $20.9 billion appropriations package that includes $4.4 billion for the agency.
