Labeling Mix-Ups Lead to Consent Decree for Shamrock Medical
Shamrock Medical Solutions Group has been barred from any continued drug repackaging and distribution services until it comes into compliance with current good manufacturing practices, according to a consent decree approved by a federal judge Sept. 17. Representatives for the company told Judge Algenon Marbley of the Southern District of Ohio that Shamrock, and four of its corporate officers and employees also named in the decree, have halted repackaging and distribution of non-sterile drugs to U.S. hospitals.
