SeraCare, ViveBio to Develop IVD Products
SeraCare Life Sciences has entered into a strategic partnership with Alpharetta, Ga.-based ViveBio to jointly develop and market in vitro diagnostics, the Milford, Mass., devicemaker said Monday.
The deal will combine SeraCare’s advanced diagnostics development with ViveBio’s ViveST technology for specimen collection and stabilization, says Tevor W. Brown, a SeraCare vice president.
SeraCare’s portfolio of products includes quality control technologies, disease-state specimens and tissues for research and development, processed biological materials and immunoassay reagents.
ViveBio develops and manufactures specimen transportation, storage and blood component separation and clinical diagnostics products. — Jason Scott
