The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has awarded three patents to Ubiquity, including one that covers wireless communications for the medical industry.

Specifically, the patent covers the Medical Scan Clip-on, a device that scans medical parameters and communications via cellphone. The cellphone can communicate the parameters to remote locations, as well as analyze them.
