The FDA has approved St. Jude Medical’s SyncAV CRT software, the device company announced Monday.
The software is designed to work in combination with the company’s MultiPoint Pacing Technology to treat heart failure patients, and automatically regulates pacing based on real-time changes in a patient’s cardiac condition, according to the company.
