The China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) has cleared the Pharos dermatology laser manufactured by Ra Medical to treat psoriasis, vitiligo and other skin diseases.

Ra Medical gained a CE mark earlier this year for the device.

China has an estimated 13 million vitiligo patients who do not currently have treatment options for their disease.
