EMA and EUnetHTA Publish Joint Work Plan
The European Medicines Agency and the European Network for Health Technology Assessment released a joint work plan to help medicine developers improve clinical research and become more efficient in generating the evidence needed for both agencies.
EUnetHTA is a network of member states, regional agencies and not-for-profit organizations that produce or contribute to health technology assessment. HTA bodies provide recommendations on the medicines that can be paid for or reimbursed by a particular country’s healthcare system.
The plan’s objectives cover early dialogue and scientific advice processes, information exchange at market entry and generating data following product authorization.
