FDA Grants Clearance for Device Using Spinal Elements’ Titanium Coating
Carlsbad, California spinal tech company Spinal Elements announced that the FDA granted clearance for its expandable interbody device using its Ti-Bond surface coating technology.
The device, the Lucent XP height and lordosis expandable interbody device, uses the company’s Ti-Bond titanium porous coating technology.
The coating gives increased surface topography and immediate stability for expandable interbodies. It is hydrophilic and radiolucent.
