RevMedx has earned the CE Mark for its XGauze wound dressing, a multi-layer dressing that expands for rapid blood absorption and increased area coverage.

The device is packed with an embedded layer of compressed cellulose sponges that expand after contact with blood or fluid. According to RevMedx, a single expanded XGauze fills approximately the same volume as three standard gauze dressings.

The sponges rapidly absorb blood and expand ten times their original size, making them useful for wound-packing and treating certain traumatic injuries.
