Australia’s TGA Clears Corindus’ Robotic System

Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration has granted Corindus clearance to market its vascular robotic system CorPath GRX in Australia and New Zealand.
The device assists physicians in precisely placing devices and stents during interventional procedures and complex vascular cases, such as coronary guide catheters, guidewires and rapid exchange catheters.
The system’s automation feature enables speedy navigation to a targeted lesion in a predictable, consistent movement.
