BMS and Pfizer Join With Fitbit on Atrial Fibrillation Project
The Bristol-Myers Squibb-Pfizer Alliance announced that it will work alongside Fitbit, a developer of wearable activity trackers, to help develop faster diagnosis of atrial fibrillation.
The collaboration is intended to improve early detection of atrial fibrillation in patients at increased risk of stroke, the alliance said.
The collaborators will develop educational content and guidance geared towards supporting patients at increased risk and help them have productive discussions with their physicians.
