PharmaSwiss Recalls Emerade Adrenaline Pens
The UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency issued an alert that the Bausch & Lomb affiliate PharmaSwiss is recalling all unexpired batches of its Emerade adrenaline autoinjectors because some have failed to operate.
Bausch & Lomb has determined that one component of the autoinjector may fail to activate, especially when pens are exposed to high temperatures.
The UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency advised healthcare professionals to stop supplying the products and to quarantine all remaining stock and return it to the supplier.
