Singapore’s Health Sciences Authority (HSA) has granted a conditional approval to Gilead Sciences’ remdesivir as a COVID-19 treatment.

The approval is for adults with COVID-19 who have oxygen saturation of 94 percent or less, or require supplemental oxygen or more invasive breathing support.

Singapore has allowed early access to remdesivir since March for use in clinical trials.
