Celltrion has launched a phase 1 clinical trial in Korea of its investigational antiviral antibody treatment for COVID-19 patients.

The trial will evaluate the drug’s safety in 32 healthy volunteers who have not been diagnosed with COVID-19.

Celltrion is also set to conduct a phase 1 trial of its antiviral to treat mild COVID-19 patients in Europe, along with a separate study to assess the drug’s potential as a preventative treatment.
