Molekule has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for its Air Pro air purifier for medical use for the destruction of viruses, bacteria and mold.

The Air Pro device, which is already on the market, uses the company's patented electrochemical oxidation technology.

Several other Molekule air purifiers — the Air Mini, Air Mini+ and Air Pro RX — previously received 510(k) clearance from the agency for medical use, including in the home, for the destruction of viruses and bacteria.
