Ambu has received a CE mark for its combined single-use bronchoscope and specimen sampling system, the aScope 4 Broncho sampler set.

The sterile, single-use product for bronchial wash and bronchoalveolar lavage procedures is the latest in a series of single-use airway devices from the Denmark-based company.

The device’s design prevents the accidental detachment of the suction tubing and reduces the risk of sample contamination, the company said.
