The FDA has granted Dyad Medical 510(k) clearance for its Echo:Prio cardiac imaging analysis application.

The artificial intelligence software tool, which provides automated analysis of echocardiogram video and still images, is part of the company’s Libby cardiac platform. The assessments allow for rapid diagnosis and triage of patients.

The company believes the Echo:Prio will change the way echocardiograms are normally assessed by replacing time-consuming manual assessments that often lack consistency between readings.

Boston, Mass.-based Dyad Medical is focused on developing cloud-based AI technology for cardiac image analysis.
