Japan Agrees to Measures Aimed at Expanding Access to New Treatments

Japan’s efforts to improve pharmaceutical regulation and speed the introduction of novel therapies include steps to streamline the new drug review process and enhance U.S. manufacturers’ dialogue with Japanese regulators, according to a recent report on the U.S.-Japan Regulatory Reform and Competition Initiative.
