Pharma Sequoia Secures $22 Million From N.J. Investor
A Maryland biotech has raised $22 million to bring its AIDS-fighting drug a step closer to market. Sequoia Pharmaceuticals, which secured the cash while other firms continue to have trouble getting investors to return their calls, plans to use its second round of financing to fund drug research for at least two more years.
