Icahn Reiterates $20-Per-Share Offer for Mylan
A day after dropping his lawsuit against Mylan Laboratories Inc. and a rival investor, billionaire Carl Icahn implored management of the Pittsburgh-area generic drugmaker to accept his $20-a-share offer for the company. Mr. Icahn, who owns about 9.7 percent of Mylan, withdrew his suit against the Canonsburg, Pa. company and investment fund Perry Corp. on Wednesday, saying he was satisfied a proposed $4 billion merger with King Pharmaceuticals Inc., which he opposed, did not transpire.
