SEC Accuses Ex-Fischer Execs of Fraud
Two years after launching an investigation into accounting irregularities at Fischer Imaging, the U.S. government filed a civil fraud complaint against a group of former officers and a director. The 45-page complaint accuses ex-chief executive Louis Rivelli, along with two former chief financial officers - Rodney Johnson and Stephen Burke - of inflating revenue reported in 11 quarters of 2001, 2002 and 2003 by $45 million, or 38 percent.
