Singapore's Temasek, Drug Companies Sign Deal for Asian Drug Sales
Singapore's state investment arm said it has entered a joint venture with U.S. biotechnology giant Quintiles Transnational Corporation and Hong Kong-based health care company Interpharma Asia Pacific to sell drugs in the Asia-Pacific region. The joint venture, which starts with a fund of US$112 million (euro91.5 million), will acquire new and existing products from research-based drug companies, a Temasek Holdings statement said.
