US PHARMACEUTICAL FIRM ACCUSED OF TRADEMARK INFRINGEMENT IN CHINA
A Chinese company, Henan Shuaike Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. lodged a lawsuit against Warner Health Products, an American pharmaceutical company, for trademark infringement. In its indictment submitted to Beijing First Intermediate People's Court Shuaike accused Warner of putting Shuaike's registered trademark, which was protected by the law, on Warner's Shark Capsules which Warner claimed to be a cure. Shuaike said the General Administration of Industry and Commerce had ruled that Warner's behavior was trade infringement.
