Journal Articles Give Edge to J&J's Cypher Stent Over Rival Boston Scientific's Taxus System

Johnson & Johnson’s (J&J’s) Cypher sirolimus-eluting stent system is more effective at preventing restenosis in diseased coronary arteries than is rival Boston Scientific’s Taxus system, according to three recently published articles in The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) and The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA).
