Loophole Allows Associations to Fund FDA Travel, Report Finds

FDA officials have accepted more than $1.3 million in sponsored travel since 1999 from groups closely associated with pharmaceutical and medical device firms due to a loophole in agency policy, according to a March 30 report issued by the Center for Public Integrity (CPI).
