WYETH SEES REPATRIATION, RESTRUCTURING CHARGES
Wyeth (WYE.N: Quote, Profile, Research) Chief Financial Officer Kenneth Martin said on Thursday that the drug maker plans to repatriate all they are allowed to in overseas earnings and expects to take a cash charge of about 11 cents to 16 cents in the third quarter. He did not specify, in a conference call with analysts, how much Wyeth will be able to repatriate. Wyeth also foresees a third-quarter charge of about 3 cents to 5 cents related to its previously announced restructuring program.
