QUEENSBURY MEDICAL DEVICE COMPANY HIT WITH PATENT INFRINGEMENT LAWSUIT
AngioDynamics plans to "vigorously defend" its position in a patent infringement action naming its VenaCure laser system for the treatment of severe varicose veins. Although the Queensbury medical device manufacturer had not yet been served with a complaint, the company said it had been informed that a patent infringement lawsuit filed in July by VNUS Medical Technologies against Diomed had been amended to include VenaCure.
