Singapore-based drug company MerLion Pharmaceuticals will be working with Novartis Institute of Tropical Diseases (NITD) on a treatment for dengue fever. Besides finding compounds that will fight against the mosquito-borne viral infection, the two companies will also develop and commercialise discoveries in other therapeutic areas.
