DJ ORTHOPEDICS 4Q PROFIT UP 54 PERCENT
Medical device company DJ Orthopedics Inc. said Thursday that its fourth-quarter
profit rose 54 percent as revenue expanded, and compared with a year-ago quarter
weighed by restructuring costs. Net income grew to $8.1 million, or 35 cents
per share, from $5.3 million, or 24 cents per share, a year ago. The latest
quarter lacked the $1.6 million in restructuring costs from the year ago quarter.
Revenue rose 10 percent to $75 million from $68.1 million last year.
