MEDICAL CENTER UPGRADE IMPROVES COLON ANALYSIS
The Upper Peninsula Medical Center in Marquette performs approximately 4,500
colonoscopies a year. A new device is now helping them achieve improved colon
analysis. The device is named FICE and stands for Fuji Intelligent Chromo Endoscopy.
It uses all digital, high resolution technology that enables physicians to visually
enhance portions of the digestive tract not visible using normal endoscopic
devices.
