EASLEY GRANTS $150,000 FOR 65-JOB PHARMA EXPANSION
Gov. Mike Easley is awarding $150,000 in One North Carolina Fund incentives to pharmaceutical company Sandoz for a $10 million expansion of its Wilson County research and development facility that is expected to create 65 jobs over three years. Sandoz officials said in a written statement Thursday that they expect the new jobs to pay an average annual salary above the Wilson County average of $30,680.
