CONOR MEDSYSTEMS IMPLANTS THE FIRST PATIENT WITH A DUAL-DRUG HEART DEVICE
Conor Medsystems said May 18 it has implanted a stent that can deliver two drugs to help keep an artery clear. The move is part of the race to tap the more than $5.5-billion drug-delivering stent industry, where innovation will be the force to eventually take market share away from the relative duopoly held by Johnson & Johnson and Boston Scientific.
