Cyntellect, Inc., a privately-held biotechnology company, today announced that it has received a $2.2 million equity purchase milestone payment from Sigma-Aldrich. The milestone payment represents Cyntellect's satisfaction of certain terms and conditions under the two companies' exclusive Cell Xpress service commercialization agreement executed one year ago.
