House Members Chide USTR for Placing Thailand on IP Watch List

Thailand was “acting within its international rights” when it issued compulsory licenses for generic versions of several drugs, and the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative’s (USTR) decision to place the country on the intellectual property (IP) watch list was “retaliatory,” according to several House lawmakers.
