Schein Profit Up 52 Percent on 20 Percent Sales Gain

Henry Schein Inc., the dental and medical equipment distributor that is Long Island’s third-largest company in terms of sales, said its revenues rose 20.8 percent in the third quarter compared with the same period last year, and that profits were up by almost 52 percent.
