BrainStorm Cell Therapeutics Secures Financing

ACCBT has invested $750,000 in BrainStorm Cell Therapeutics, a developer of adult stem cell technologies.

The funding will be used to build a Vivarian facility to conduct preclinical studies of treatments for Parkinson’s and Lou Gehrig’s disease. BrainStorm also will extend its research focus to additional illnesses, the company said.

In July, ACCBT agreed to invest up to $5 million in the BrainStorm.
