FDA Conducting Safety Review of Bristol-Myers Antibiotic

The Food and Drug Administration said Wednesday it’s conducting a safety review of Maxipime, a Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. antibiotic, after a study in a medical journal suggested the drug might be linked to an increased risk of death.
