Takeda Ad Aims for Leg Up on Glaxo Drug

Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. planned to launch print ads today touting the safety of its diabetes drug Actos, just days after the Food and Drug Administration slapped new safety warnings on rival drug Avandia from GlaxoSmithKline PLC.
