China Medical Technologies Announces Acquisition of a Fast-Growing ECLIA Player

China Medical Technologies, a leading China-based medical device company that develops, manufactures and markets advanced in-vitro diagnostic products and high intensity focused ultrasound tumor therapy system, announced that it has entered into a definitive acquisition agreement to purchase the entire equity interest in Beijing Bio-Ekon Biotechnology Co., Ltd. with a cash consideration of US$28.8 million.
