Arana Therapeutics Completes Project With CSL

Australian drugmaker Arana Therapeutics has completed a project with its pharmaceutical partner CSL Limited (CSL).

Under the terms of a June 2006 agreement, Arana developed humanized versions of lead antibodies from the CSL pharmaceutical pipeline. Should CSL develop one of these antibodies, Arana will be eligible to receive milestone payments and earn royalty fees, Arana said.

Arana is a biopharmaceutical company formed in August through the merger of Peptech and EvoGenix.
