Merck Plans 170 Jobs for Carlow

Merck Sharpe & Dohme, which employs 400 people at its Pharmaceutical manufacturing plant at Ballydine, outside Carrick-on-Suir, is to establish a $250 million sterile vaccine facility in Carlow which will employ 170 by 2011.
