Sanofi Opens First Asian Development Center
France’s sanofi-aventis has opened a pharmaceutical development center in Goa, India, to accelerate its growth in Asia.

 

The launch represents the drugmaker’s largest investment in the country and is the company’s first Asian hub for developing new drugs.

The center will have the capacity to develop up to 12 compounds annually, sanofi-aventis said.
