Hikma Acquires Jordan's APM

Arab Pharmaceutical Manufacturing’s (APM) shareholders have approved UK drugmaker Hikma Pharmaceuticals’ acquisition offer.

The purchase of the Jordanian drugmaker will strengthen Hikma’s position in the region, particularly in Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

The company also will acquire APM’s portfolio of 106 products and five in-licensed products, including Takeda’s diabetes drug Actos, Hikma said.
